hey does anyone know if the knew civic type r has tilt sensors or is that a aftermarket option.. thanks mums wheels got stollen so need to get her some lock nuts and a better alarm

you know what the three people I have seen driving around in type r in within my area have been three old people, i'm talking about the 40+ range and two of them are ladies too!

when i went into the honda dealership a retired couple bought a demo ctr haha...

i dont think the CTR standard alarm has tilt sensors... iv only tested mine buy locking myself inside and opening the door while the it was armed and it let off a siren...

i'll test it tonite and arm the car then rock it up n down, see if that triggers the alarm

i would think you would need an aftermarket upgrade (uses factory remote) such as an Autowatch 555 or similar, with optional tilt sensor.

yea thats wat i was thinkin cause when they got niked it was in my drive way n we herd nuthin at all bloody basterds (yea my mum is 47)cant wait to i get to drive it i said her i would swap for my dc2r but she just laughed

get a upgrade alarm from mongoose and get the additional tilt sensor from DEI, goes off when you tilt the car more than 1 degree.

Get a glass break sensor too while your at it

cheers guys anyone no what the standered dc2r alarm comes out wit cause my mate dosnt even have one in his n i got sum realli good one that puts windows up n everything he just has central locking n imboliser i think
