er Honda HK sells the FG series, only FDs availables are through importers in HK.

speaking of facelifts, any guess on when the FD civic is due for one? It was launched in 06, so would i be right in saying the facelift would come at the end of 08 to early 09?

I don't see the civic changing anytime soon.

Yeh the new generation civic won't be out till 2010 i reckon, but a minor face lift of the current model (probably something like a minor cosmetic to the grill or headlights) will likely be on the way at the end of the year or early next year as told by a dealer.

Wouldn't be surprised if changes in headlights/grille or tail lights (typical facelift features) in addition to the change in rims. Also guessing there will be introduction of stability control at some point in time across the range.

Colour is simply from demand, it's different to cosmetic/design changes to the car.

If lots of people ask for a colour that's not available at the dealers it'll get logged/noted.

Same goes for colours that people don't like, Honda just won't make them available. No point making colours that won't sell.

FA = USDM Civic Sedan
FG = USDM Civic Coupe
FD = JDM Civic Sedan

doesnt look too bad.. if it came out in the type r range.
