EK9 Climate console swap

Bit confused with all the info on other forums regarding the swap. Most are talking about swap from 96-98 civic to 99-00 console.

Im wondering if I have a 99-00 CXI civic can I straight swap the EK9 climate console on or would I still need the other bits like heater box etc

you would need the heater box.. the ek9 climate console is different to CXI.. its at different places i believe

heater boxes are the same, the EK9 heater box has extra bits to it that can be added,

also you need to change part of the loom

Ok look, you need the following

Heater box, core box, the 3 boxes which sit on your firewall inside the car.
You will also need the wiring loom as they aren't manual anymore. ( most come with the item above ) its a seperate loom to your dash loom
You need the climate control console.

YOU will also need to re-gas your airconditioning as installation releases it.
