spring + shocks

hey guys, n00b q...

just wondering when purchasing aftermarket springs and shocks..
if you order the right "model spring/shock" for your car they will automatically fit together (fit meaning springs "fitting" the shocks)?

does that make sense?

Yes they normally would....If both the shock and spring are designed for a particular car make. then there is no reason why they can't be mated together.

But there are certain springs that go better with certain shocks if you get what i mean..

For example.. Most aftermarket springs will go fine with Koni Shocks..but springs that come to mind that go extremely well with Koni shocks in my area(accords) would be eibachs or neuspeed springs.


Let us know what setup you plan to use,,then perhaps we can help sum more.
