yeh for qld! if only our gov down here was like that in melb... aparently we are getting a drag strip at avalon and its underway but its all hush hush, with investors from the quit motorplex involved etc....

don't hold your breath guys, the sunny coast (1hr north of bris, closer to 3hrs from QR) has been apparently planning a motorsport complex for the last decade or so... still no closer despite multiple suitable proposals..

governments just don't get it. a circuit & strip would generate more revenue than the speeding tickets we get, and keep dickheads off the street at least occasionally
