Auto Gearbox Lights died (Civic EK)

Hi Guys,

I got a wierd one here.
The lights the light up the gearbox on the Automatic car that displays (P, R, N, D1, D2, D3, D4) has gone off completely.

the strange thing is, everything else on the front dash is working including the clock / radio, etc. so its just the little lights that display right next to where you put the car in Drive etc in the Auto cars.

I checked the fuse for INSTRUMENTS LIGHTS according to the book, it doesnt look blown, but then again, if its stuffed, then wouldnt all the instruments lights go off?
Could it be the bulb it self? if so, how the heck do i change it??

.. just my D is fuct.. everything else lights up.

you are talking about the T-bar indicator, and they usually come with a 3v parker bulb to illuminate the letters and selector, best bet is to pull your centre console out and have a look at the bulb.

yep the T-Bar indicator.

Man its gonna be a killer to pull the console out.
anyone have any pics on where i should start unscrewing?
