The grille part can be cut out and mesh put in place.

But, dont do it - it looks tacky and ricey and there is minimal difference to airflow.

Unfortunately when i bought mine this had already happened with some silver bodykit mesh. Took it out and sprayed the sucker matt black. Looks better, but it still annoys me and i think ill end up getting a whole new bar in the future.

If you want to go down this avenue though, you can get bodykit mesh from supercheap.

looks like this now

I've seen chrome ones in the past, but with the chrome billet grills for the top they are long discontinued, may find one on ebay.com

Yea can you be more specific - for EK, are you talking about the grille where the OEM honda badge is, or the fins on the front bar itself?

You say you're after a lower grille, then go onto agree with ryan when hes talking about the top grille

If you are talking about the top grille itself, disregard my post haha

There was a blue sedan near work with it years ago that had what you want, have to see if I took some photos of it. They were around 350 new for the lower bit, thats goin back a good 5yrs tho

Next best bet is to track down a custom shop and fabricate up some rails there or fins whichever

nah its an insert they used to make for the custom Hondas back home, only a handful made it here tho, didn;t take off as well. Looks pretty nice on good show cars. I'm fumming due to only have pics of them in mags from 5yrs ago lol, no scanner ether lol

i am talking about the lower part of the bar underneath the number plate of an EK/EM ( 2000 coupe ) on the actual bumper

i have seen a few civics with like a metal plate/ grille over the the 2 'fins' and it kind of hides the fins and sits in front of it..
