exhaust size question

need a quick answer if 2.5" exhaust will loose any low-mid power?
or wat size will keep power that level?

i tried searching coudnt find the right answer.

depends what engine.
2 not experience a drop of low-mid power:
if you have a b16 or b18 then 2.5" or 2.25" is a good diameter
if you have a d series then dont go over 2"

eg4, which im goin 2 slap on a turbo in couple month. so will 2.5" make my car now loose any power?

if your gonna turbo it get the 2.5" you may lose a little down low power now, especially if your engine is otherwise stock...
but if your gonna turbo it i'd say go the 2.5" the more flow with turbo's the better.

im using a short ram intake now, ages ago i used a cold air intake an kind of sucks on low rev range. so if i get 2.5" now it will loose power on low rev, but can still gain high power on higher rev is this right??

in a B series maby, but if your running a NA D series i think 2.5 will be way too big and you will lose power the whole rev range until you get the turbo
