Hi guys,

Been looking but couldnt find anyone thats had a dent removed on the boot.

I have one located just above the Accord tag from sis rolling into a bottlebrush tree and i was hoping to pull it out or tap it out myself.

But can someone give me some insight on the design of the boot, as atm cause its during the week i havent had time to remove the trim yet to have a closer look. Will do on the weekend though.

I am wondering if we can tap it out from the inside or do we require to insert a piercing tool and pull it out. Then fill up the small hole with puddy and recoat with paint?

Many thanks for all your guys responses.;) Daz

I'd live with the dent if the paint is still intact and not at risk of rusting. Drilling a hole, pulling it out, filling and respraying the boot and 1/4 panel for a small dent is a bit silly.......

I agree. I had a dent on the rear right door (probably shopping trolly) and one on the bonnet (looked like some fool used their hand to push it down). Both were on the car when I bought it.

I got them repaired by a dent removal specialist, both are now completely gone, I was very impressed. They charge ~$100+GST per panel.

Ask a Honda dealer. Honda offers a scratch/dent policy (with an outside company) when you purchase a car. This service was offered to me for $595 over a three year period. The company would come out to your house (for a $50 call out fee) and repair the scrath or dent concerned. I didn't take out this policy but it's a good idea.
Your Honda dealer should be able to give you the name of this company.

I think that works best on larger dents.
