Depends on wheel size. Final drive for dc5r/s is 4.7. Some 04 modelled jdm r have 5.0 f/d.

Face lifted JDM DC5R from 05-06 had refined shorter gear ratios to the pre face lift which had longer ones.

It was even stated in one of the best motoring videos.

Will try and locate the specs tonight.

it might be wheel size, but then his 1st gear is still the same, but from 3rd to 6th he said the gears are definately a lot shorter than before

would be great if you have them chi! :D

unfortunately i don't have the 05-06 JDM DC5R ratios, but i'm pretty sure i can confirm that he's not running type s ratios

01-04 JDM DC5R:
1st 3.266
2nd 2.130
3rd 1.517
4th 1.212
5th 0.972
6th 0.780
final drive 4.764

with these ratios, speed at 2nd gear 8500rpm is 97.55km/hr, 9krpm is 104.52km/hr

05-06 AUDM DC5s is quite similar so i doubt that he'd be running type s ratios:

1st 3.266
2nd 2.130
3rd 1.517
4th 1.147
5th 0.921
6th 0.738
final drive 4.764

I believe the 07 JDM CTR is:

1st 3.266
2nd 2.130
3rd 1.517
4th 1.147
5th 0.921
6th 0.738
final drive 5.062

with these ratios, speed at 2nd gear 8500rpm is 92.92km/hr, 9krpm is 98.39km/hr

all of these are worked out using 215/45/17 rims

to get 129.65km out of 2nd gear at 9k rpm using 225/40/19 rims, 2nd gear would have to be 1.7
(note smaller rims or lower rpm would mean slower speed.)
