Looking at purchasing an EP3; however, my concern is can all the parts that commonly need replacing be found here?

1) What size brake rotors and are they the same as say DC5Rs?

2) Brake pads - are they common only EP3s or other Honda's?

3) Exhaust headers and cat back or axle back at least?

4) Suspension bushes and steering components?

5) Clutch?

Call me a worrying old fart but i wouldnt buy 1 if all of these parts have to be sourced from UK or Japan... or do EP goods from the US fit EP3Rs?

Thanks in advance for your help guys!

1) 300mm and yes they are the same as DC5Rs

2) Brake pads are the same as AUDM DC5Rs (not JDM). Fronts are the same as S2000 fronts.

3) I think that exhausts are different but someone may confirm.

4) Most suspension bushes will be the same as an AUDM DC5R. Tie rod ends are different. The rest of the steering I have no idea about.

5) No idea but engines and gearboxes are the same as DC5Rs so I imagine they are interchangable.

Thanks guys!

This gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling... :p

I test drove one on the weekend and it was bloody good fun. Steering is rubbish compared to a DC2R but as good as the DC5R. Power, brakes, gearbox (oh what a gearbox!) and suspension are all fantasic!

Interior is a little boring compared to a DC5R though :(

I believe the Exhaust on the EP3 is shorter than the DC5R.

A guy in the US tried fitting a JDM DC5R Full header back exhaust system and had to modify the piping to fit.

Will find the link on it tonight.

Some of the suspension bushings are a tad larger and require shaving to fit into the EP3, friend has done it before himself.

Cltuch is the same for DC5/EP3 practically same engine minus the exhaust system.

Rest is correct from "GUY".

The whole move to electric steering has killed steering feel...

This is a 'what if' question - what if you damage body panels or bumpers?

These cars are so rare that you would have to import them from Japan or UK right? Im not planning on bending one but if shite happens...
