View Full Version : how do you replace a b16 thermostat?

- disconnect battery
- take intake components off
- remove hose clamp and hose at the thermostat housing
- theres a grounding wire there thats in the way, remove that. for some reason this kept sparking for me hence why i said disconnect battery
- remove the 2 bolts holding the housing

i don't think he knows where the housing is dude..

to find the housing just follow the bottom radiator hose towards the engine, should be connected to the housing afaik
3 bolts, pull out thermostat, put it back on and bolt it up
could probabaly do with a radiator flush at the same time and fill it up :)
