Hey guys.

I need some advice hope you blokes can help me out. :) I've just got a set of rims from work and put them on and currently it looks like a 4WD!! looks ridiculous! anyways, so looking into lowering it on its ass, whether replacing springs, resizing them to suit height, etc. I found a set of ebay, any good? Take a look. Otherwise any other suggestions?? I really want the car to sit on its ass, well not too low. lols Cheers.

How much you willing to spend? don't really trust ebay springs..

For around $300 you can get a set of Kings Superlows (springs, lowers around 2inch)
Add another $900ish get an adjustable shocks (Koni Yellows), since most likely your stock shock will die sooner or later.

Or you can go Coilovers :)

PS. what car?

i wouldnt go ebay springs aye.
depending on how much u wanna spend if u wanna get something worth it look at coilovers instead of springs

lols unlucky croatiaboy. Cheers for the heads up but though. Yeah im just after springs guys, coilovers is abit too much for me. Just something simple to cruise with as the car is not worth much.

300 dollars will get u TEIN S-tech delivered from USA :D.

Just get some TEIN coilovers - there cheap compared to a spring shock combo IMHO.

Pedders on my car when first installed was "officially the legal height" 1.5 inches, after like 4 months its like 2.5inches!!! ultra sag - super soft springs.

im considering the TEIN S-tech myself.

Agreed Ben FTW Nice guy does the job right the first time and if something IS wrong he WILL tell you its wrong

For your budget i think a good adjustable shock and spring combo could be in order unless you can get the Tiens

What are the advantages/disadvantages between going a Spring+adjustableShock combo to Coilovers?

AutoNoob

Spring/Shock better than coilovers unless u get the real $$$ coilovers.
coilovers bang for buck i recon.

Skunk2's are meant to be a good Shock/Coilover/Etc part

but at the price of the coilovers vs shocks IMO its better to just buy the coilover and be done with it

This will be a good system to get and will be 100% quality
