caraudioaustralia.com

name of the game at your level is to rate things by their rms power. max power means nothing.

and dont think that more power means better car audio.
check out that site above and you will learn the ways

uv got to find the rms wattage on the sub and get a matching monoblock amp or u can get a 4 channel amp and put the sub over 2 and power 2 splits on the other 2 channels and connect ur rear speakers to headunit that way u dont need 2 amps.. it all depends on how much u want ur system to pump.. and how much u got to spend.. in ur case i would recommmend the 4 channel... makes the whole setup alot cheaper

jb hifi has some good 4 channel kicker, jl audio, and alpine amps and if ur friendly they can give u decent discounts

first thing people are gonna ask ya is whats your budget, then the impedence of your sub.

my 1st setup was a el-cheapo

1200W max 4ch boss amp $200
4 x 6.5" supercheap speakers $60
supercheap headdeck $120
800W U.S.-turbo sub in box - $100

didnt care about rms just had the 4 speakers hooked to it and bridged the last 2 as per manual to get the 800W max sub goin

not great quility, you get what u pay 4. but it was LOUD. could hear me commin from blocks away.

so if you just want oomph just go into a store and ask 4 a amp to power what you got. or go online and find out the rms value of what u got and get a amp to suit that way
