Don't know if any of you guys went.
Last Saturday at Oran park, an event called Superlap was run. It was just a time attack race day, lots of sweet cars. I was hopeing the High Octane GTR would win the day, however it was run by a Lotus Elise powered by a Honda motor.
By far one of the most entertaining car to watch was a turbocharged S2000 oh and a NA civic carving up the competition.

There is a huge thread about it on Skylines Australia with lots of pictures =) and imput from some of the drivers
Oh there was also a Toyota Land cruiser (turbo'd) that wasn't last, he beat a few skylines and some other cars lol it was crazy.
The day was aimed at getting people involved with motor sport without having to meet strict modification criteria.
It was only $15 to spectate for a full day of racing. Dunno if any of you guys went hopefully this thread will get people chatting, but it's defiantly something to put on your calendar when they announce the next installment.
