Yes. FEO. 10-30 rated. Made for pretty much all Honda engines world over. Use it.

so FEO is fine for engines reaching the 200,000km mark?

Yes it is as long as your PCV valve is not worn out and you still check your oil level every month. You can also use something like Magnatec 10w-40 if you want. But if your PCV valve is worn, it will still burn oil no matter how thick it is.

Good qu also great answer. Is there any way to check the condition of the PCV valve? Also another qu, my engine seems to be burning alot of oil also oil seems to blacken and get gulggy quicker than normal, is that signs of a worn PCV or is it something different?

How many kms do you do before it turns gluggy?
You say you use 15w-40, which I am guessing is Castrol GTX3 in the red bottle. It's a shit oil. I used to use that in the Astra and it was not good at all. Go and buy Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 for $27 and change the oil every 7000km.

FEO, or Edge, 5w-30.

Na i hate Castrol too, tried it in another car n it was pretty crap. Its Valvoline Gold Engine Armour, which ive used in different cars and found to be pretty good, its not that expensive too 25 for 6l. But yea oil seems to go gluggy after only like 3000k

I'm not a fan of the cheap Valvolines. Give Honda FEO a go then. It is $30 for 5L. Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 is reasonable for the price. But lasts only 7000km in my engine. I can feel it being rough after that distance.

Yea just ordered some FEO and also a few PCV's they were pretty cheap anyway and i read some online articles that reccommend changing them regularly. Also read articles that said that an oil catch will help catch alot of the depositorys that could feed back into the intake after the PCV. Do u reckon just an oil breather would work afte rthe PCV n plugging off the intake on the inlet manifold?

NO. Plumb it back into the intake manifold. Do not put a breather on the PCV valve. Otherwise, you'd get lung cancer when you breathe in the fumes from your engine bay while the engine is revving.

true, how about adding an oil catch can into the equation, that would get all the junk before it feeds back into the intake

try nulon 10w-30...... i found it better than castrol magnatec....

wat abt fully synthetic oil 15w-50???? does this mean that the oil is no good for performance engine???? nu claims that its fully synthetic oil 15w-50 is for street and high performance engine.... i think all honda engines are high performance engine.... :D:D

Yes, that would be a good idea. Replace the PCV valve if it was old, and add an oil catch can in between on the line.

15w-50 is too thick for modern Honda engines... Except maybe the old F22a and F22b from the 90's.

Don't get tricked by "marketing hype". The viscosity of the oil is more important than the words "performance engine"

i use lubimax extreme in my b16 its rated at like 10w-40, i found it better then penrite sin 5 which was the oil i was using previously.
