Few random questions for y'all.
1. You know how people these days are ditching the side mouldings on the eg and filling in the holes...
Are they welding up the holes or just filling it with bog?
2. I know installing an ITR radiator into eg requires some modding of lower radiator mount. But does that mean cutting and welding or just light tweaking?
3. Anybody know a good way to install the DC2 gauge cluster into EG dashboard?
Thanks for all the help guys

2. isn't dc2r radiator better than an eg breeze's radiator?
for the radiator i am pretty sure you will need to weld/bolt on a lower mount as its a full size radiator and an eg one is half size.

u will need to weld up the holes if u dont the bog will fall through after u have painted it
u will need to drill off radiator supports and reweld them onto the correct fitment of the itr rad but u will lose ac unless u do some custom stuff
unless u hack your eg dash it will not fit
only way ive seen it done it to use the itr/dc2 dash in the eg

advtanges of ITR radiator in an EG are wat?
larger cooling surface, twice the size, so better cooling
better for hard driving or the track
better for your motor

but no visible diffrence for an evryday car right? maybe just better motor tolerance on the track?

yeh for everday daily driven civic its not gona do much at all,its just if u wana be anal about it if youve put a b18 in your eg then the itr radiator is the one that ran on the engine originaly so some people do it because it makes it run a few degrees cooler, just from being a bigger radiator.
not even enough temp drop to notice it on the water temp gauge though.
would help if the car is tracked though.
personally id prob just go with a standard size, maybe twin core, aluminum radiator

Thanks for the info guys.
Finalazy thanks for the post but i think the welding is the way to go.
So quick run down
1. Weld the holes up then bog to finish it off
2. Not absolutely necessary but this car will have at least a b18 and it will be tracked. So cut off the lower supports and weld them back in the right place to fit the ITR radiator. A/C will not be installed so it isn't an issue.
3. No chance....unless large modding to the eg dash is done. (ie. look for an eg6 cluster?....haha)

ITR dash it mate, a few people on here including 90POV have done the swap, it looks pretty good, definately the way to go over hacking away your dash
