Hi there all. Wondering if any of you could give me an opinion regarding whether you think any of these wheels would look good on MY06 Graphite Pearl Euro Lux. It has the OEM Body Kit , Euro R Grille and badging and M3 style rear lip. (See Avatar)

I will go with this

2nd choice
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x45/mikestar07/xpresshbbg.jpg

I dont really like black rims or protuding rims, like the 2nd choice and some others as they are too easy to get damage if you hit a gutter.

Thanks! I'd either stick with 17"s for the ride or maybe go up one to 18"s

assuming your car is graphite from your photo, 4 would look the best imho. http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x45/mikestar07/meshhbbg.jpg
as it would contrast also a bit.

so that mean 17" is not worth to upgrade ? . i am getting my new 04 euro this afternoon and thinking about upgrading to 17" . Is there much diff in driving exp between 17" and 18" ?

I am after 06 OEM Limited edition 17" wheel from honda but can't find one , I like number 6 as well , where can you buy wheels number 6 if you i live in Sydney ?

might be worth the upgrade on an 04 euro, but on an 06 your just going to the same size again
I'd still go with 18s though on an 04

i had 19s on an 06, perfect size i think, significant jump in tyre prices though
18s are probably the best bet

as for in syd

I think 17" or 18" is a good size. If you have a lux on 17" changing to a lighter 17" does wonders....

preferably go for lighter wheels if changing from the same size but will cost you dollars, but never go for chrome unless you want VIP and lose a bit of performance.

So Chrome is not good for performance ? i wonder why they so cheep $995 for whole set including tyres .

Anyone know how much Honda will charge for their OEM 17" set in 05 sport ? i am trying to find one on ebay but no one selling it

St George Tyres have all the wheels I posted.

Tyre size is a matter of personal choice. I had an 04 Euro with 16"s and I thought they lkooked too small for the car. They didn't fill the guards out well at all IMO.

For the average guy 17"s are fine and the tyres are cheaper than 18"s or 19"s

IMO 19" and bigger don't look good on the Euro. I would either go to 17"s if you don't them or else 18"s.

You will find that everyone has a different opinion.

I think i would go for the 17"s coz i think 18"s is too big and cost more for my budget .

I just got the car home just now , very happy with this car , this car feel very heavy compare with my Prelude but i think that how big family car is . Feel very comfortable on the road when i go 80 still feel very slow . alot diff exp with this car after driving the prelude for 4 years i think i need time to get used to it .

Not sure about how much diff in driving exp if you changing from 16"s OEM to 17"s

well, when i brought the euro it came with the 17" Euro R rims... and when i lowered it, it kinda looked abit too small and the offset was too high. thats when i decided to upgrade to 18" and since then, looks has been perfect

also, i dont feel a major difference in handling nor comfort upgrading to 18s.

lol mainly prob cause if you lowered and got wheels at same time your suspension mods would have more effect than wheels do but if on stock height you prob will feel slight differences.

Have you considered used volks, buddy club, enkei wheels?

Mike Star

Thanks mate, I hadn't really considered used but it might be worth a look.
I had a quick look in the Parts for sale and Traders section.
Where's the best place to look for Volks, Buddy Club or Enkei?

enkei's you can pretty much get from anywhere too common.

buddyclubs, best to try buddyclub in Australia give them a call.

volk - traders from here JDMyard/Mu secret otherwise need to source from overseas sites.

Hope this helps a bit.

well, how inspiring to hear everyone bagging no.5..lol obviously it doesn't look great, BUT let me tell you guys, i bought those wheels nearly 6 months ago and i was measuring/weighing/etc etc all the wheels and those wheels are seriously awsome for this car, they weigh much less than stock 16" and handling is second to none, the car feels so much lighter, for the looks its not bad either, i will take foto of my graphite euro with those wheels and post them here, you cannot argue about taste but in my opinion they are great, not stock, not bling, just right:))

post a pic up of your car with number 5 and let us have some insight with them on.

IMHO they don't look the best, what size did you end up getting and how heavy were they?

The reason I included them on the list I posted was I'm pretty sure I saw them on a Blue Euro and I thought they looked quite good.
It would be good to see a pic of your Graphite Euro with them so we can get a realistic idea. Thanks
