LOL at Title. How many times does a 1000km service come about, on the same car?

Not for the Jazz. They usually just double check everything to make sure they're in working order. I change mine every 5k km just as peace of mind for me.

1K is known as complimentary service,
is basically just checking everything and make sure they are in working order.
they don't change the oil filter nor oil.

there is no oil change at the jazz 1000km/one month service.
(this has been covered countless times)

honda recommends against an oil change at this stage

the only vehicles that currently may have an oil change at the 1000km/one month service is run out CL9's

I think he's asking for his CP accord, not his Jazz.

No, but I am going to rep Panda because his post was big :p.

On the grounds that I cant be bothered searching (and we already have this thread open), why dont they recommend changing the oil? I would have thought that lots of little particles would have been collected very early on in the engines life.

new engines are alot cleaner than they were 20-30 years ago, so it doesnt really apply anymore

another reason is they apparently have super duper additives in the oil from the factory

other reason they don't mention is cutting the costs of service to appear more attractive to the consumer

it's only 'complimentary' because there is no oil change. before the customer was left to foot the bill for the oil, but the labour was covered by honda
