Bent my Header

It's only a cheap X-force 4-2-1 but where the 4 meets 2,it's not flat from bottoming out a couple of times.My muffler dude said he can take them and file them so they will sit flat.$100.Sounds great but I was wondering is there another alternative like welding it together?
I'm just curious cause it may happen again.I will get stiffer suspension soon so that should eliminate it.

100 bucks lol cant go wrong~probably not good idea to weld them~i beleive that lowers optimum flow.~ how are those headers? any good for d series ?

Thanks hisoka.I've only ever had these headers,they are fine,do the job well.Compared to others they are probably adverage but a great improovement over stock that's forsure!

the XF 4-2-1 header is great for D series.

Brett, maybe you have to really pick what roads you drive on, im lower than you and dont have that problem. I recommend getting your exhaust guy to fix and then BE CAREFUL! lol too many mates in your car will wreck your shit! i have been saying that for years ;)

That's great to hear the Header is good.I have no comparison so I wasn't sure.It definately does the job well.
I done it on a speed bump...I drive over them everyday but I was just going to fast the night I hit as I came down the other side.It was quite a knock...
I'm gonna get the K-Sport coilovers for $1000 in about 4 months.The OEM shocks are way too bouncy...

It made the pedal less restrictive/easier to push therefore making the car far more responsive.You can feel the car breathing much much better over stock,making the car far more enjoyable to drive.
It would be so shit if I were to put the stock header back on,I really wouldn't enjoy the drive so much...

what i think, get the Ksports, they are also awesome and take your header off and polish it back to its former glory and get it blinging again.

are you still looking for the ADR approved brake lines?

Much better.I have been having idle issues for a while but it comes and goes.Not much at all,just enough to know it exists and piss ya off sometimes.Since this has been fixed it hasn't happened so far so the next few weeks will tell if that was the cause.
It drove me bonkers for a while.I just couldn't find the reason and I check so many things.Fingers crossed!
