Hey dudes,
about to purchase toda headers and hi flow cat from the private sales section. but have a question.
The custom hi flow cat was attached to Buddy Club Spec III. I want to attach it to my RM01A. Will it fit or will i need to modify the cat?
Thanks dudes

depends on the on flange type that was used on the cat, only way you will be able to tell is once you get the items and line them up, other wise, a flange for the RM01a is 30 bucks or so from any exhaust shop, as its a fairly common flange

Thanks dude,
So thats the only thing that can go wrong? I dont know much about custom cats. worst case scenario is that i have to get a flange to suit RM01A?
I dont want to buy it, ship it interstate and find out i cant use it on my RM01A at all. Also, do i have to cut my cat back at all?

yes, will have to get the old cat cut off and new one welded on , worse case, shouldnt cost more then $100

I thought the headers are welded to the cat, and the cat bolted onto to catback, confused now..

maybe he did weld it onto the headers =/ for a strange reason, the Toda headers come with a flange, theortically its a 3 piece system, headers / cat / exhaust, on most setups, have a closer look, either way it wont change what you are trying to figure out, if the rear existing flange will corresspond with the bolt holes on the RM01A

so if the headers are welded onto the cat, ill have to cut and weld my rm01a to the cat. so why do i need flanges for the rm01a?
sorry, im a noob

Dont cut the rm01a, it will ruin its price and quality, cut the cheapest part the cat! and match its length to the needs of the exhaust
