should be further up, just look around you'd be able to find it soon enough
is there another Entry where you can pour gearbox oil ?
besides the one at the bottom of the car.

yes one further up on the gearbox.... it's another one the same as the lower one.. exactly the same.
my m8 poured it through there , its a Bolt Below the Intake Arm directly ontop of the Gearbox ?.. is that it?
juss checking coz im worried he poured it into something else.

just check the drain bolts, if they are the same then a-ok.

2 possibilities
he either poured it into the VSS,which u would prob recognise by the wiring plug attached to it,so oil did go into gearbox,no probs
or he poured it in thru the bolt holding the reverse gear shaft, oil still goes into gearbox ok,but just make sure bolt went back in properly all the way & make sure u still got reverse gear, lol.
Top Of Gearbox , looking from Engine Bay

like i said,it all went into the gearbox, but that bolt holds your reverse idler shaft in,not the best plan of attack, take the VSS out next time, the black thing just to the right of it in those pics with the wiring plug on it,but even then make sure u dont lose the small pin that will come out as well.
or just do it the proper way & fill from the bolt thats in the side just above the drain bolt,u should of filled it till it was just started pouring out the fill hole anyway, how did u know how much to put in or did u just measure it?
i just syringe it in thru the fill bolt, takes a little longer but hey,im in no hurry.
oh btw have u tried reverse gear in ur car yet, lol?

This is why I prefer to use the proper filler hole, not the VSS hole. At least with the proper filler hole, any excess will come back out, which is the your signal to stop filling.
