just wondering, with an engine swap for a 92 eg civic, i want to put in a 99 model engine in da eg, and i was wondering is it just a straight forward swap with no other parts need, meaning get da engine from the 99 model civic and just put it in a eg simple and clear, with out no hassle of needing engine mount or other stuff,,, can anyone help me and correct me

When you say 99 Civic engine... You mean B16a? D16y4? D16y8? or D16y5? Whatever one it is, to put in an eg... you will most likely need to deal with mounts, driveshafts, loom, ECU etc.

Do you have much mechanical background?

Also, if its a carb eg... will need to convert it to fuel injection while includes fuel tank and system...

no such thing as a straight bolt on on any engine swaps.

even from the same year span youl need to change the ecu, dizzy if it didnt come with one.
possibly driveshafts.

unless you get the same engine put in then its not a straight bolt on.
engine swaps arent like CAI or headers.
its like changing a persons heart. :/
