View Full Version : Taking rear seats out of Integra LS

hey i have a 1990 integra LS and want to take the rear seats out permenantly. i want it done right not just rip em out, any tips on how to do it or what i need to buy?

the bottom you push it towards the boot at the same time you are pulling it up. for the back part they simply just unbolt with i think a 12mm socket

The base of the rear seat has a bolt holding it down halfway across. Just search in between the seatbelt latches. Once this is undone, as mentioned, pull the base up and away!

The seat backs are unbolted from their hinges which you'll find hidden by the carpet on the seat backs. The rest is quite self explanatory.


Pics would be handy ay. If you're stuck I'll post some up.

P.S. Not sure if its legal to remove seats, since the car's seating capacity will differ from what it is legal to carry.

i agree with P.S. part. i wanted too but im pretty sure in vic its illegal.

you can but then you have to re-register it as a two seater car

yeh its 12mm use a deep socket and extension its easy that way...

im gonna do it on the weekend aswell for next weekend...
