ok so i was thinking..
assuming i found the right sizes rear rotor with the right bolt pattern
assuming i can even find the dc2r rear calipers on their own

would i be able to bolt it up?
afaik rear discs are 260-262mm on the rear of a dc2r

anyone tried this before? would be interesting if the bracket bolts right up and i can find a disc to use(got one in mind already)

ignore any other factors, we're just concentrating on the rear brakes for now

your rear rotors would be the same size as the front ones if you did this... it's an admirable move, i dont think the effort is going to give you much result considering the front end does most of the braking...

already have front 98spec itr calipers and rotors :)
hence the question

ok, you need ITR Lower Control Arms i think to make it happen

hey? i'm just asking whether the rear caliper/brackets will bolt on to the stock mounting points as long as i get the correct size disc

not sure what the lca has to do with it though
in any case the dc/eg rear lca won't fit ek's, too short ;)

might be useful, might not
but I had DC2 front calipers on my eg, I then swapped them to DC2R calipers & rotors and used the old hub/knuckle from the DC2 (didnt wanted 5 lug) and the mounting points are same. (note: this is what I did for the fronts only)

but I'm pretty sure DC2/EK4 use the same calipers & rotors. so I think it should fit provided you have the right rotors.

Yes vinny it'll work. All you need is rear ITR calipers and ITR rotors redrilled to 4x100.

We are in the process of doing the conversion.

are you talking about the height of the rotor when sitting on the ground flat or diametre of rotor?
