Feo 10w-30

hi,

Blacktown Honda only have 10W-30.

FEO 10W-30 is 40 bucks
oil filter is 20 bucks

Is this not recommended? As the Civics user manual shows that 10W-30 is only good from like -10 to 35 degrees ambient.

What does Ambient mean? Im pretty sure Australia gets higher than 35 degrees easily.

feo's always been 10-30?

its fine, i've used it in all sorts of temperatures fine
if you're really concerned you can just change oil for summer

ambient is the surrounding temperature
i.e. outside temp today is 18c, that would be the ambient for the day
