u posted in the rong section, this section is meant for intros only
as for importing an nsx, it will be difficult
one helpful hint i can give u is to go and do some more research, find some dates
find out exactly the years the nsx was sold officialy by honda here in australia
then find out when it was sold in other suitable markets, ie, japan or the UK
say honda australia sold the nsx here between 1990 and 2000, then this means, 95% of the time that u are not allowed to import any NSX from another country between this period as it interferes with hondas market
if honda japan sold the nsx in japan in 1989 or 2001, then u could, probably import one from that year
for a post 2000 model, u are looking at pretty big bucks
for a 89 model, ur prob gona get ownd with repairs, and i mean ownd
if honda sold the nsx for exactly the same amount of time in all markets around the world, then u can pretty much forget about importing an NSX
in this case, the only option left is the personal import path, so, u go to japan or the UK, buy one, live with it for a year
then ur allowed to bring it back here, as long as u can prove it was ur car and that u lived with and ownd it in the other country for a year
again, im not defenite on all this info, ull have to check vicroads or watever the authority is in ur state to confirm evrything
but then i assume u are going for the import option to hopefully get a mid 90s model from outside australia, good condition for cheaper
i can safely say to u, that this isnt a very hopeful option
also, do some more research, the import rules are the same for all cars

Cannot import the NSX-R.

this might not be much help but if you are able to import one, i've heard buying an auto then converting it to manual is better than just buying a manual one outright.
i think it was on the vtec dvd but they said its less likely to be thrashed and would be in a better condition (??) can't remember it fully but something along those lines.
with importing, you might have more luck buying one here or even in australia already. it sure would be alot easier.
my 2 cents... :)

cant import them unless its a privet import,
auto motors have less kw than the manual ones and no its not slower jst cause its an auto. they use different cams for starters and few other little bits

Im from SA and if ur talkin about the yellow kitted up nsx im not 2 certain that its a R altho its got type-r stickers on it. The dude has boosted it n it looks insane but i highly doubt that its a genuine type r. Got a feeling its auto, judgin by the sounds when he drives it, but theres a couple of yellow 1s around here, none have body work tho, nsx becomin a bit more popular these days.

Yea i confirm, it was in VTEC Club DVD. I'd imagine an NSX manual box would set u back a bit tho... but im sure that if u can afford an NSX in the 1st place a few more grand wont b much of an issue.

the nsx is not on the sevs list so it will only be allowed to be imported under the personal or race sheem http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/sevsindex.htm if you import it for race use then you will not be allowed to road rigister it and you will need a lvl2s licence (level 2 speed cams) to import it.....
you can also import it under personal you just have to find a compsny to do it for you and you have to wait 1 year for the car....
the basic idea is someone will buy the car for you over sea's and keep it in storage for a year then thay will ship it over here and rigister it under there name and then sell it to you so it is then in your name... its a long and anlying thing to do but if you love the car then why not right?

It was a few years back.
It had a CF GT wing, 17x8 White Regamaster Evo's,Titanium Exhaust and the interior was definately NSX-R with the NSX-R CF seats, cluster, dash, shift boot and knob etc.
