Hi all

i did a search, couldnt find anything much. basically i was trying to figure out what the pcd for the 99 dc2 is, and what offset would be recommended for some 17x7's so there's no scrub. the car is lowered so the front gurad is just a tad above the rim.

cheers oh!

VTiR and GSi = 4x100
Type R = 5x114.3

For 17x7 I would go +40ish offset if you wish to be conservative. For tyres 205/40 would be best.

yeah get some light 15s or 16s.. i got 16's and they fill the guards up nicely.

I have 16 x 7 +44 and I reckon they only just fit, an offset lower than +42 might even be a problem. 17's will be larger overall diameter so will prob scrub.

Stock 15 x 6 is +45

Are you sure?

I think stock DC2R rims are 15 x 6.5, +42 offset, 114.3.

I have 16 x 7 +40, and they fit verrryyyy nicely. +38 would look nicer IMO. My guards have not been rolled, and they are not scrubing at all. Mind you my car is not Slammed on it's ass.

A 17" with a 205/40 is not larger in overall diameter than stock sizes tyres on 15s.

Actually it is, but not worth mentioning, much less than I thought though, my molestake :)
Overall Diameter for 17' = 23.45 in 595.63 mm Overall Diameter 15' = 23.44 in 595.37 mm

Im running 17x7.5 with a +40 offset and even when I have a full car and I corner hard I havnt scrubbed. Altho im only running 2 fingers between the guard and tyre on the front.

Because when you have bigger wheels, and yo go smaller it doesnt look right because you get used to seeing it on 17's... just a personal thing i guess.

lowered at all? mine sits about that high unloaded... pedders springs i believe.

Im using type-r suspension (springs and shocks). Its low enough for me now, it went about a inch and abit and I scrape on my driveway without a angle so its good.

I can post pics if you want.

i'd say the pedders sussy may be softer then... i'm interested about the type r sussy tho. might have to look into it a bit....
