its actually a "mini-me" conversion.

stolen from here (http://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_45390/tm.htm)

1. What the exactly is a “mini-me”?
A “mini-me” is an informal name for a D-Series SOHC VTEC head mated to a D-Series SOHC non-VTEC block. Most mini-me swaps consist of D16Y8 or D16Z6 heads onto USDM D15B, D16A6, or D16Y7 blocks. JDM D15b VTEC heads will work as well.

I wouldnt bother doing one (unless you are doing it to be different). Do a bit more research and you will understand why.

not much power gain, may as well save money for proper conversion if you are serious
