Hi all,
I want you guys opinion on this wheels + tyres I got quoted for $300 (all 4 + installation excluding wheel alignment) at a shop yesterday. They are used and tyres have about 70% tread. Size is 205/40/17. I personally prefer 205/45 or 205/50 but that's the size it comes with the wheels.
Is it worth getting it? I am riding on stock suspension and
cant see myself changing anytime soon. Wanna know how
205/40/17 rides? My car is CD5 accord btw.

What brand are the wheels?
How old are they?
Do they have any damage?
What are the offsets?
Is the pcd/stud pattern correct?
What brand are they tyres?
How old are the tyres?
Do they have even wear?

The ride wont be as soft as compared to if you had a 45 or 50 profile. But it shouldnt be too bad on stock....but as you said for accords its more prefereable to be using 205/45

check to load rating i would suspect 205/45/17 to be load rated for a small lancer, civic etc doubt it would comply to the rating needed for a bigger body accord.

again different factors come in,
will it fit, and is it the best option, are 2 totally different questions.
yea they will fit, tyres should be bigger and as stated might get you into trouble later on if you dont change them.
But if your buying on a budget of 300 and you like them....
oh it wont be the best ride, even worse if they are shit tyres...
