my B16a problem, engine light =[ lag

Hello all.

i only recently bought a B16a Integra LS, last night the car was driving fine, not a problem at all....
this morning the engine light was on while i was driving, and it appears that the car has lost power. when i use to drive say whatever gear it was, the car would go fast quick and not lag on first gear when i redline.. it would og up to 8000rpm fine without a problem, even tho the car is warm, it starts up fine but around 5000 - 6000rpm it starts lagging and the engine REDLINES where it cant go any faster at 7000rpm...

and the engine lights on =[ im such a car Newbie. i dont know what it could be or what to do

NOTE that the car worked perfectly fine last night... this morning it didnt, the car has PLENTY of oil. at one point a little too much...

check the engine light code for the issue

my bet is the oil pressure switch is causing the problem

maybe not enough oil in the engine.. or the solenoid needs a clean, or an oil change etc


basically when error 22 comes up it is vtec pressure switch.. and it doesnt allow vtec to engage.. hence the lag
