DC5R Electrics?

Hey all just a quick question. Does anyone have the codes for the DC5R My lights are blinking three times when i lock it. Shouldnt it be only 2? I could just be paranoid lol!
Also my ciggie lighter doesnt work. I checked the fuses and the connections at the back and they are all fine. It stopped working after i tried to plug my PS3 in.

My DC5S blinks 3 times when locking as well.

The indicators are meant to flash 3 times when the car is locked, and you should check your fuses if the cigarette lighter suddenly stopped working. The fuse for the cigarette lighter should be in the under dash fuse box, number 18 pictured below:

Yep, that seems normal.
My DC5R blinks three times as well
when i hit the lock button.. and one long blink for open.

by the way dont smoke in ur car lol :p im way to paranoid to smoke in mine and get burns and ash everywhere

Yeah i checked the fuse and its fine.
I would never smoke in the car i just need the thing working for my PS3.

hey would you mind posting pics of ur ps3 setup in ur car? im planning on doing the same thing. where can you get the adaptor for the ciggarette power point cable that powers the ps3? thanks heaps man

why not splice into the accessory wire and have a switch?

maybe use a tester to test the ciggy wire.

Hey dont have any pics of it yet but ill take some and post em up.

As for installing the PS3. Go down to Jaycar or an electrical joint and buy a converter. It plugs directly into the ciggie lighter and you can get ones with up to like 6 plugs if u really need it. But one should be fine! Cost about $60-80. Just make sure you get one that has the right voltage for your ps3 and car! Oherwise your ciggie lighter will screw itself like mine has!

Yeah xposed thanks for the idea if i cant gt my ciggie lighter to work i might jus do that! Everything is better with switches.
