the whiteline BHF53XZ is an integra extra h/duty Blade adjustable front swaybar to suit VTi-R ball-joint/pin link type (Integra DC1-2 05/93-06/01 hatch excl Type R).

will this go on my EG5 straight swap? the whiteline bar for eg's is only 24mm front and this one is 27mm and blade adjustable.

or would i go the ek 27mm bar BHF52 (whiteline description - Swaybar-heavy duty. with OE bar and ball type link)

does the eg5 have a the same as the integra Gsi's double pin link or ball-joint/pin link type?

before you start flaming me on how FWD need bigger rear bar this is to be tied with a 24mm adjustable rear bar and asr brace. similar to the 27-22/24mm setups on itr/ctr but adjustable. i am not noob.

if you're using stock eg5 rear lca then yes same as normal dc2

if you're using eg6/dc2r rear lca then you get the dc2r one

doesnt matter if ur using eg6/dc2r lcas or not, regardless it will fit either way. EK sway bar will never fit on EG.

oh all the dc/eg use the eyelet endlinks?
thought it was different since the arms weren't the same
in that case then go with jdm_kid's info and get either one since it won't matter

yeah front guys. sorry first post edited.

the combo i'm looking at is 27mm front and 24mm rear both adjustable. :)

what i need to know is whether the the whiteline BHF53XZ, which is an integra swaybar to suit VTi-R ball-joint/pin link types, will go on my eg5. to know this i think i need to know whether my eg5 has a double pin link or ball-joint/pin link type? i know nothing about these link types so can't identify what my car has.

thanks for any help

if i get the 27mm bar does it matter if the links are different? can i just use my oem ones? or is the bar ends different and wont fit the other link types?

If you are doing the work yourself, wait until you've got the rest on because you really won't need it. I have a 24mm rear bar and stock front with rear focused springs and would still like more rear stiffness. Everyone likes different things but spring rates are one thing that you could constantly change. You'll never guess the perfect setup first go so why not save the $200. From the information I've received you are just guessing that because you are upgrading the rear that you need to upgrade the front? This is logic with missing pieces. It takes a LOT of rear bar to give steady state over-steer characteristics. Then again, I don't know your money situation and I'm not really answering your question am I?

Have you contacted Whiteline? They been prompt with me in the past when I asked a similar question.
