"If you force 50% more air into a 3.2 litre engine it performs like 4.8 litre engine!"

Sounds very much like another product called, Turbo X, not saying they are though

Turbo X was basically a compressor, that was electrically powered, rather than exhaust powered, claimed to be able to push a couple of psi, 3-4, maybe 5 even, can't remember.

i see-- well the dyno charts look as though they were done in 1970's(if they had dynos back then)
he should give one away to prove his point i think then have a full dyno and reveiw written up by the car owner-
then we could see what goes on hehehe-- or like say if it doesnt work money back or sumthing like dat-

hmmm i'm getting something similar thats made in germany. it LOOKS a bit more functional than the one in there, but essentially its a box with a fan thats installed between the throttle body and intake, powered by electricity

My mechanic CLAIMS that it runs at about 4-5 PSI, and will generate around 25HP at the wheels. Which is a massive improvement for a mere 500 bucks installed.

I will get dyno figures before and after (cos mech said that if no improvement i dont have to pay himand i get the thing for free)... neone want me to post it up here?|

So the bottomline is that it just increases the airflow to the engine yah? Seems like all his distributors and dyno readouts are from Malaysia.. I might call my tuner in Malaysia up to check this item out and report back with the findings...

Then there is also another thing, VTEC engines love intake air with fast velocity.. Might be beneficial to us :D... Ah well, get back to you soon....

P.S ---> Dundas... When you get it, show us the pics and what differences you got after the install :D

SIKCVC

the main issue here is that our ECU's cant handle the extra air... even if it does produce a heap more, the ECU can only adjust so much before it doesn't understand whats going on (or something to that effect) and your engine starts to run shit.

hmmm if wot u say is true SIKCVC (i think it makes sense)... then would installing a VAFC/SAFC or some form of engigne management compensate for it?

gimmi. there is no way this thing will produce enough air to make boost, and i rekon will just hinder performance because its a restriction in the intake. The only supercharger worth ur money, is something that is belt driven off the crank :P

as for the ECu comment. the ECU cant handle boost, it will throw a CELL at the sign of positive pressure. DOnt worry bout that happening with this thing though :P AN AFC will do nothing for u, unless u get injectors around the 440cc range, and then trimming fuel right back. this can fool the ECU up to about 10-11psi.

personally speaking i'm still willing to give the product the benefit of doubt... especially since i can get it for free if it doesnt work...

think about, a long while back turbos or superchargers were new concepts too... i reckon i'll give it s hot

but its not worth 500. not worth the effort.
500 could get u a td04 and a hf manifold with adapater plate.

Exactly
And $500 could get you a set of decent headers....
