So the other night, we went cruising and i powered my passenger side window to tell my mate something, as i went to get it backup it stuffed up!!!! ><
It went up a lil and struggled and i was like wtf.

got out of my car took a closer look, and the window was out of place! ><
anyone know what the problem is?
i hope its not the arm thingo.

same thing happens in my mates civic coupe.. he usaully pushes it into place then powers it up.. it doesnt seem to bother him much hence he hasnt fixed it..
I rekon you should open your door trim and you will find the problem. probl somebolts lose..

i think best thing to do is open it up and have a look. happened to me once n found out that the cable snapped.

maybe your window regulator has shat itself. pull off your trim and have a look like the others said

my em1 does it occasionally - slips out of the rail

have to take the trim off, loosen the front rail bolts and slot the window back in. easy to do, just bloody annoying.

i also had an incident with my regulator aswell. went to wreckers n grabbed one for cheap.

But yeah, open it up, n u should b able to diagnose the problem

if its out of place it's come off the arm.. its only 2 bolts holding a plastic piece to clamp your glass.

easy fix, take your door trims off, and bolt it back on... it's only do-able fully wound down.

the window could just becomeing out of alignment like on the fd civic's all you haft to do it take off the door trim loosen to two bolts on the window line it up with the top of the door frame and tighen them and proly lube the channel rubbers aswell to be on the safe side

lol
thx

btw, has it happened again? mine seems to be getting more frequent.
someone mentioned there's a plastic clip that holds the window in to the rail.
i haven't got any clips so maybe it fell off?!!
might hav to pull the passenger door apart and compare cause it never has a problem.
