Hi All,
I just discovered that my drivers side head lamp connector has melted on my 03 Jazz. That would explain why the headlight isnt working :(
Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to replace?
Do I need to get it repaired at Honda or can a Auto Electrician do it?
Thanks...

Yeah it was an aftermarket bulb. But the wattage was stock 55w.
Any idea how much it costs to replace?

Connectors are only a couple of dollars from Repco $10 max i believe. Ask for the H4 one. It only consist of 3 wires (one for each plug of the bulb), so if you know how to cut and solder then it will be a 5 minute job. Too easy!

lol not likely, to get to the connector u would have to go under the front fender, its a huge pain in the ass to change a bulb let alone fix a connector. its even worse if ur car is lowered lol

Changing the bulb took me 2 minutes max! But yes I can see how changing the connector might take abit longer as you have to access it through the bottom (sorry I was thinking of my Soarer where I can access it through the top... my bad). None the less it will save you alot of cash doing it yourself then to get charged by an auto electrician for labour. As for it being more difficult if the car is lowered, makes no difference if you use a jack and take the wheel off for more room. lol

I just got it fixed today. $7 part and $50 for half hour labour from the local auto electrician.
