Hi,
I read that it's possible to connect undercar neons to the VTEC solenoid and only have them switch on when the car hits VTEC. Ricey, i know, but i kinda like the idea of my car turning super saiyan. Was wondering if anyone knows how to go about this? Much appreciated.

infil G4 + OBD with USB -> fusion brain for digital input variable based on RPM > 6krpm, digital output for remote on for the neons

^^please elaborate.
Wouldn't it be the same as having a vtec light but the neons.I'm sure you would need other stuff but it sounds do-able.

u need to connect to vtec solenoid wiring so when it gets a signal the neons will get a signal to turn on
same as doing it to your amps neons turn on to the beat
there is a diy on this vtec/light....crazy idea, post a vid when you finished
*laughing my ass off

hmm this is wat i came up with
Battery + vtec solenoid 12v > relay > neons
get the 12v feed from the vtec solenoid that comes on when u hit vtec
use that feed to energise a relay that completes a circuit from ur battery to ur neons

I'd like to, but i wouldn't know where to begin. Just pondering on the possibility and doing some initial research.
I reckon the glow would suit the VTEC scream

neons need some time to switch on... by the time you hit vtec, then you engage gear, the power will drop and then come on again... using LED would be easier and more efficient then neons....
