the lip you prob brought is a aftermarket one. meaning its not oem and wouldnt have oem fitment. the clips are useless. your gunna have to DIY mounting. there 2 ways to install it. use rivets or use glue.

would automotive tape be strong enough to hold it there without falling off while driving?

drill holes man ~and use zip ties~glue always comes of on one side, so your driving with one side on and one side off~

drill the sides in =9
two screws each side ( left and right), depending on how flush the lip is, it will or will not need glue/ or tape in the middle, u be the judge after you screw the sides and if ur not happy then diy the middle with the suggestions above.
otherwise just take it to a body shop if u cbf lol.

sifaflex is the glue they use to install body kits. it wont damage your paint or anything, its just abit hard to remove thats all

Just use 3M double sided adhesive (there is a special one you can get) and use screws. It is very straight forward.
