Head Unit Wiring what goes with what ?

Hey all, today i tryed installing my head unit thinking it would be quite easy but after taking all the lower interior parts off and removing the Honda tape player i was unsure of what wires go with what does any one have a clue?

or if u look at ur OEM head unit it should have the legend for the wire colour coding and the new head unit will also have one. Then just match them up.

thanks everyone but i still have some spare wires hanging around so decided to write up all original wires that i can see and new harness wires.

yellow / black strip
red / green strip
brown / black strip
white / blue strip
black
red / black strip
gray / black strip
blue
gray / white strip
yellow / red strip
red / yellow strip
bluish green / yellow strip
brown / white strip

new_wires

Yellow
Black
Red
brown (mute)
grey and grey with black strip (front right)
blue / white strip (p.cont)
blue (ant cont)
white and white with black or blue strip ... cant see bad lighting (front left)
purple with purple and black strip (rear right)
green and green with black strip (rear left)

just buy a harness

you don't always use to use every wire
just check the pdf i linked, it'll have all the colours and what they are

If it's a new head unit then it'll come with a wire colour chart. 1 wire that it would come with it but not have in your car would be phone mute.

im in brissy and i went to autobarn and got em for $15 each....that was about 6months ago but should still be around that price
