Hi!

So i recently got some second hand rims...and the tyres on them are wasted..soo i wanted to take them off,, and repaint the rims a different style...

I would like to know if it is possible, by just using ordinary garage tools to remove the tire off the wheel...??

Yes i am cheap, and cbb to go to tyre shop to pay something lyk 20 bux to have a man operate a machine to remove the tires..

Thanks!

P.S I dont want suggestions, i want something that actually works...

tin snips , a crowbar and a tub of grease. either lever the tyres off or cut them off. works

Most tyre shops do it for under $5 each here. $20 includes fitting a tyre and balancing.

Of course. I am pretty sure most of the big tyre shops would also have some sort of recycling programs for the used tyres so that they dont end up straight in the landfill.

cutting tools. Like an angle grinder would work.

But the effort is probably not worth it.
