hey guys is it true that if im getting b18 motor conversion into eg to get engineering all thats needed is front brakes to be upgraded as im told by a workshop.... and his estimate is around 500-600 for cert? does that sound rite?

Thats about right. correct me if im wrong but its not the engineer fee thats expensive its what you have to do to pass all their requerements are expensive. Im waiting for my appointment as well.

no, the little bit of paper costs.

coz you are paying for their time to check out your car.

also, they know people need them, so they charge a shit load

Yeah man im in Melbourne i doing it through my mechanic where i did my swap.

Don't forget that they went to university for 6 years to be able to give you that piece of paper.;)
Also, there is a degree if lible involved.If they sign off on a modification that is of a poor standard and the mod fails catastrophically and someone is injured,they might be sued.
