Hi i recently purchased a set of Rockford 162s splits..
the one i recieved in the mail has 2 core instead of one core, is this how it comes or it's some dodgey copy?
also i couldn't find the tweeter in the package.. do i "unplug" one of the "core" to use it as the tweeter?
i hope i can get some picture for you guys but i am at work... will show some picture tonight when i get home
thanks

my question is, does the ROckford 162S series ask you to take out of the the cone and use it as tweeter or it comes seperately
hope this will better clarrified my questions

On the first photo, there are 4 tweeters too... so you can probably remove them from the speaker.
And why would you call the tweeters a core?

i had these speakers in my s15, the 2 tweeters in the woofer are removable
i left one in there and mounted the other on the door
IIRC isn't there a mounting bracket for only mounting a single tweeter with the woofer and then you are free to mount the other tweeter wherever you wish (per icecrm's post).
