Honda Vs Acura

Hai Gayz,

My mate his cousin was over here for a holiday for the states. Needless to say had argument as to what is an 'Acura' and if there is any real difference between a Honda/Acura or is it simply rebadged for the American market as a Acura.

Basically the same cars but lots of differences within the cars.
E.G. CL7 Euro AUDM has 140kw, USDM Acura TSX has 147kw. The TSX also has more features in their cars as they are aimed at a slightly higher priced market (against 3 series beemers).
Not all parts are interchangable either so when being Acura parts from the US you need to confirm it will work with your Honda first.

Honda > Acura

Different name but same manufacturer.

Some have higher finishing standards or trim levels/variations

lol.. LEXUS = Luxury EXport to US... completely devalued the entire range for me

Infinity is really the only legit one that makes cars not available in the Nissan range like the Q45, V35, etc...

Some are rebadged, some are Acura-only.
TSX, RL and CSX are rebadged Hondas.
MDX was a rebadged Acura.
TL and RDX are Acura specials.

RDX has a engine not found in any other honda?? k23A turbo
and the TL i believe has same engine as the honda legend SOHC 3.6 litre

acura aside~honda america also has the honda pilot(4wd), honda ridgeline (suv), honda clarity (looks like civic), honda element (looks straight from JDM land, one of those small jeep looking things).

they have a sporty kind of jazz~the honda FIT~which i think japan has also (has 1.5 litre vtak). they also have the new 2.2 litre s2000 (produces 175 kws about).

unfortunately america wins this time.

as someone said before acura is more higher classed~like accord euro and that~the cheapest acura is US $28 grand
