Totally different cars. I didn't even look inside the Accord - it is not a good looking car on the outside so I didn't bother testing it. It is also made in Thailand which put me off.... I am sure Honda can make good cars in Thailand but I trust the Japanese employees to do a better job!

The similar names are confusing. I reckon Honda would also sell twice as many Accord Euros if they had called the car Honda TSX.

yeh, Accord and Accord Euro r different :D

Accord is more like an old mans car... but its got the new 3.0L V6 engine in it. looks fugly as tho.

and i agree with yfin on the TSX comment, TSX sounds better :D

Wheels magazine labelled the new accord the seppo, it has a soft mushy ride, lazy engine, bland drab looks, compared to the razor sharp Euro :D

ne1 on here got a new 'seppo'? I still think the seppo has potential, slammed on 19's or 20's in gun metal grey

The euro is a very good car indeed, its a four cylinder faster than those v6 camrys :) value for money mate.

The interior of both cars are the same. I saw a website a while back with some kits for the Seppo. Made it look pretty hot :)

I want an Acura TL. It is a Euro on stelroids. It looks the same as a Euro, but comes with a 3.2L V6 VTEC with 270hp.

The accord is the US version - bigger, morepowerful, softer etc. More on a progression from the 6th gen accord that NZ/Aus gets.

The Euro is more in line with the 5th gen and japanes 6th gen. Smaller, nimbler, etc.

I would take the euro over the accord anyday.

At certain angles the rear of the euro looks similar to the 5th gen. IMO

THe American designed Thai built Accord has the same dimensions with the Accord Euro.. Only the interior is more spacious, the interior decorating is the same as the Euro Accord too. It was designed in America to cater for the Americans..

The Accord Euro is designed and built in Japan and is more oriented towards a more sporty luxury vehicle as opposed to the Accord which is full on towards luxury with a bit of grunt (V6)..

I just find it sad the Euro doesn't come in the V6.. That will rock.. !! !! At least come in with the Euro R right? :D :D :D

Before I got the Euro, I drove the American Accord.. Shitza that car is so quiet..

hahaha i took the Accord for a drive as well, man it's big, a little too spacious, but the Euro is nicer ;)

I have to agree with the Euro R tho, however I personally prefer higher torque over kW, but an increase in both would be nice!

I have never heard anyone describe the Euro as ugly. Is the car below ugly? If you think it is - please post up some pics of your car so we can all see what a beautiful car looks like :D

I would buy a Euro if I could - I would have to get a divorce first....or hire a bodyguard. :(

yeah i drive a 5th gen =) the only criticism i can make about the euro is that i don't think they are as wide as the 5th gens (talking about looks, not actual dimension), if someone would do some panel work and flare out the wheel guards then it would be perfect =) it would compensate for this tallboy trend :(

if I'm not mistaken in japan the V6 accord its called INSPIRE, but maybe I'm wrong, because they both looks similar, but the feature is more than Accord, its got the adaptive cruise control . . . .
