View Full Version : Amplifer screws?

Hey guys i want a pile of amp screws im missing some or they keep getting rounded off. i went to strathfield car audio, supercheap, repco and soundmaster at hurstville but none of them have it. i can only see them on ebay from america, any ideas?

what sort of screws you looking for? how about trying those proper car audio shops?

i did, i went around to alot of them and no luck. i work at bunnings so i pin pointed the screw i need (has to be cut to size)i need but at the end of the day it has no square washer that comes with traditional amp screws =/ i was hoping maybe someone sold proper ones, there are plenty in america but you know was hoping for something more local and cheaper.

one guy in america wants $14 for a dozen which i think is insane lol

I lost one of those screw on my crossover. I'm thinking to solder the cable insteaed. Let me know if anyone have them please.. :)

i have the same problem, missing one from my alpine amp.....gold plated......havent really looked but if you really want them to all match and you work at bunnings, get them all changed.........

i was hoping too get the exact replacement screw oh well! cant have it all, ill just change all the cables to ring terminals and put a screw through it all

Can you take a photo of the screws... not sure what screws you are looking for..

These screws looks like its used for securing the cable/wires...

If its for for mounting the amp, I just use normal screws to mount the amp.

Try WES Components at Ashfield, look in their catalog for the part first

Check out your local fastener retailer like conventry fasteners etc. they have every screw you need. might have trouble finding that flat square washer though. Just use round lugs crimp the wires.
