power steering pumps interchangeable?

ok ive pretty much narrowed down the weird noise to my power steering pump. my power steering pump is leaking fluid so i was either thinking about replacing it or getting it reco'd.ive got a ef8 with a b16a1.

firstly are the pumps interchangeable between b16/b18/b20 etc? or are they motor specific.

can anybody reccommend a place to get the pump reco'd and how much would it cost?

from experience, having a car with NO power steering is completely different to having a car with a fkd power steering. LOL
