hey ppl,

my car is in the workshop and i had my ecu replaced, due to my dodge wiring loom causing issues.

the guys at the workshop said after they changed the ecu, my tacho doesnt respond.

its dead.

he said he doesnt know why its not working anymore, and that my loom is a mess.

is there anything i can do, at all? like run new wires from the tacho, and so on?

i dont want to drive without a tacho.

does anyone have any advice or solutions for me?

i drive a EG B16A, that had a p30, now with whatever ecu is in it now, the tacho doesnt work.

please help as i am picking up the car today.

the mechanic should fix the tacho. its part of his job? is it aftermarket or standard?

it works with the blown ecu but not with the new ecu.

if your talking about the EG B16A uve got written there, its far from stanard, who wired the motor in?

tacho usually works off the igniter in the dizzy, one blue wire going from there to your tacho.

trace the blue wire coming out of the back off your cluster & see where it has been wired too.
