I have 97 Cxi.
I have done wiretucking on driver side, cut and weld wired, removed the cap that connects engine room to the interior room.
all my accessory works fine, eg headlight, car audio...
my when i turn the key on, I dont have no cranking nor fuel run sound.
thinking even the starter motor is dead, I should still hear fuel run when keyed on, so I tried to do the ecu testing.
I used paper clip to short the blue ecu test plug and turned key on, I dont see no engine light at all.
Asked my mate, possibly no power going to the ecu.
I checked the fuses, they are fine.
only suspicious things I did was changing the battery terminals, thus I had to strip back the old wiring that goes to starter motor, and fuse box.
But they are pretty well installed.
any ideas?
wot could course my ecu not to respond to the test? really power problem?
any similar experience would be great guys~

sounds like uve lost the ground to your ecu & main relay, check the grounding points on the engine, tranny & make sure your shock tower plugs are coupled properly.

Also check ECU fuse in engine bay & power to main relay fuse under dash.

check the main power lead back to the fues box from the battery

are you getting any accessories at all??

I wiretucked my bay and didn't cut a single wire, much easier this way. When you do the passenger side don't cut any wires ;)

done. fixed. until yesterday, though i checked all wiring for days, i didnt know my ground wires were not on. thanks CRXer.
/JasonGilholme/ I cut my wires and yes i regret it. my fuse box wires wont need any shrink tubes nor nothing~

now, all good but my idle is strange. it does up and down between 1and 2k rpm. next challenge....
