hey dude, glad to hear that you are getting a teg R, well as for the price comes with the condition of the car as well........ get it checked up to see if the engine is running well and the body has not been in an accident b4.... In my honest opinion, I would pay the extra few grand for a good one somewhere around the 25-27k mark probably would be a good guide. Good luck in your quest! Cheers

yeah but 25k is out of my budget.....

i'd still check if it was 23k.....and if it HAS been in a smash i wouldnt get it....thats why i want stock...i want it cheap and good......its the quest for the holy grail, i know!....

Wait, save some more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Buy a good 1! 25 - 28K would be the price range.
RU sure U won't modify UR TYPE R afterwards?
Mods R mega expensive if done properly. (parts & labour)
Maybe buying a mod R with the stock bits could be an option?
Good luck anw!

depends on the seller, and be picky about imperfections and discount

my one is in really good condition, was going for 27, and wouldn't get under 24... then we reached a compromise of 23 000. its possible, other people i looked at didn't go under 24 and were in much poor condition, depends on seller. don't rush and you'll be happy

keep in mind that you'll have to pay RTA an extra $700 (3% of cars value) to change ownership details on top of your purchase price, then work your budget

24K for 70K kms.. good condition.. urmm.. that's gonna be hard but good luck. I've heard that someone recently bought one for $23K but I have no idea about the condition/kms. I got mine for $23K and to be totally honest, it has some crappy mods on it. Ended up spending on exhaust and tyres. I'm still spending actually. oh and mine's got 94K kms on the clock, plus the one of the owners swapped the red seats for blacks one. So that also contributed to the lower price. so again... g luck

Honestly, it all boils down to what you want..... for the 24k mark it is really though to get a good one or even one that is in above average condition..... but anyway you may be lucky and find someone at crown losing alot of money and who is desperate in getting rid of his R.........but if you are honestly interested, my fren has a jdm R for sale and have mods such as spoon front and rear strut, ohlins sussy, j's racing intake, mugen headers, spoon n1 exhaust, etc, etc. His car has no air con but has already ordered one and there is no abs either. But his car is in good nick and trust me, it is fast man.... pm me if you are interested or anyone who is interested??? :D

i picked my R for 29.5K with 38K on the clock.
it just takes patience mate. Wait until you find a good example that fits your needs.
I was looking for about 2 months until i found my R.
