:(

Just bought my accord euro luxury. handles well. But man it started having squeaks, rattle, and rubbing sound from the left side. Cant really isolate this. I wonder if any one else has had cabin issues. Im a little dissapointed by this honda quality. I wonder if its just the crappy roads in sydney.

Rattles and squeaks are fairly common. It is exacerbated by the otherwise quiet cabin.

Try and isolate the noise as best you can.

If you hear a cracking noise over bumps or turning at the left side it is the windscreen. There is a fix for that you can do yourself at

It is really simple and worked for me.

The windows on the doors are also wound very tight. One person on the TSX sites has suggested a fix for the door rattles that could work for you. Wind the window of the door that is rattling to the top - then press the down button once quickly. This releases a bit of pressure on the frame but keeps the window closed.

I agree with yfin. I do get a little rattle from the window, and have tried yfin's fix and it works. I also get a little rattle from the lock stubs/latches but I don't think that you can do anything about that. Yes, the rattles are made worse by the extremely quiet interior of the Euro - which sometimes is a curse rather than a blessing.....

Try driving along roads in Queesland and you'll thank your lucky stars that you are in Sydney. I do regular trips between Brisbane and Gladstone (six hour drive - 560 km one way) and the roads.....just to say I'm lucky to have such a good car to tame such roads. :D

I was sooo happy to move from QLD, I was in Townsville. W.A. has the BEST roads in the country!

I am happy with the euro and lack of noise from the cabin, I am yet to get any squeeks and rattles. Honda has done a great job with this one.

I have looked at the site recommended by yfin. They suggest using 303 aerospace protectant to spray on the rubber seals of the window. Where do i find that

Just use CRC silicone spray dude. It will not perish rubber, plastic and is cheap. :p

Go into a Repco, Supercheap or anyother car place and ask.

Must admit the roads in the Northwest of WA are pretty dam good.
There is this new rd just outta Tom Price that is dead straight for 8km, bugger all cops, funniest thing is the rd is about 40km long, and just stops at a dirt rd in the middle of nowhere. One day, LOL, it will get to Karratha

Down south leaves alot to be desired tho.

I must check it out! Is it the road from Tom Price that goes to below Dampier? I must make the trip, I have a few mates there.

Me had some problem.

Take it back to your local honda dealer who will get their contracted windscreen specialist (eg. o'briens) to pull it out and reglue it. The issue originates from the glue in the automated machines that glue the windscreen having bubbles in them.

Peter Warren from Warwick Farm did a great job and I havent heard a squeak since. Unlike Scotts in Artarmon where I bought the car and the monkeys thought that shuving foam inside the passenger side airbag cover was the fix. It wasn't. TURKEYS!

Does it rattle only when you have the windows partially open?
I haven't noticed any rattle from my car yet and would like to keep it that way. However, I've never driven with my windows open yet.
I can't stand any rattling/noise from the car.
